Red Bucket Food Drive 2019

Red Bucket food drive 2019

Project Shepherd

Our school will be participating in the Project Shepherd Holiday Assistance Program put on by the City of Lakewood and the Rotary Club of Lakewood. This program helps families in need during Christmas and the holiday season.

Registration for this program is from November 4th – 17th. You can learn more about this program and find out where to register here.

Red Bucket Food Drive

The PTA is not a sponsor of Project Shepherd and we are not running the school’s food drive, but we are working with the teachers and room moms to help organize everything.

For the families that are willing and able to donate food, the school is hosting a Red Bucket Food Drive during the month of November.

Our school will be entered into a drawing for a $500 Visa gift card for each complete meal donated. A meal consists of the items listed below and a $10 gift card to a local grocery store to go towards the purchase of a ham or turkey.

If you would like to help by participating in this program, please consider donating the food items listed below as well as a monetary donation that you feel comfortable with (no minimum or maximum required from each student). However, in order for the food to be considered as a complete meal, all gift cards must be in $10 increments. Anything less will not count and anything more will count as only one.

To make it easier on you, our volunteers and/or room mom can arrange to purchase the gift cards in $10 increments if you send in a monetary donation.
