School Is Closed, This Is What You Need To Know

School Closed March 2020

All on-campus PTA and school activities have been canceled for the month of March. This includes Grandparents’ Day and many others. However, we are working on some creative ways for our families to stay involved during this break, so please be sure to read about our Read & Fit-A-Thon below.

Also, please feel free to share this message with any other parent or guardian that may not have received it.

School Closed

As you may already know, Bellflower USD has closed all schools from March 16 through March 27, 2020. Schools will resume on March 30, 2020. Please check the Bellflower USD website regularly for more information and direct any questions or concerns to them or the school.

Read & Fit-A-Thon

Just because school is out doesn’t mean that we can’t have fun and share our school spirit. Get ready for some fun challenges and activities during our Read & Fit-A-Thon.

Events like this help the PTA raise much-needed funds for activities that benefit all students, so we hope you will participate.

We need to raise money for field trips, assemblies, reading programs, art programs, health programs, Red Ribbon Week, family nights, Veteran’s Day ceremony, Grandparent’s Day lunch, teacher appreciation, and much more. Your PTA pays for all of this.

In the meantime, be sure to follow us on our various social media channels because that’s where some of the #challenges will take place.

CPK Take-Out Fundraiser

Please join us in our California Pizza Kitchen Take-Out Fundraiser all day on Tuesday, March 24 and Wednesday, March 25. This is for take-out orders only!

Until Next Time…

Please stay safe and healthy.
