Nominations for the 2020-2021 PTA board are now available
If you are interested in one of the following open positions, please submit the bottom portion of the flyer to the office no later than Monday, February 24, 2020.
The elections will be held during the March PTA meeting, which is also the evening of the Spring talent show.
Open PTA Board Positions
Spiritwear Chairperson
- Manage all spirit wear orders
- Must be available for the first few months of the school year
Reflections Art Program Chairperson
- Learn about the 2019 PTA Reflections Art Program here

- Takes place during October
Carnival Chairperson
- Carnival takes place in May 2021, so planning should begin by the beginning of 2021
- Guidance and plenty of resources will be available to you to make the planning and execution as smooth as can be
- Plan booths, food, games, and activities
- Manage the setup, hosting, and clean up
- Volunteers will be available during the event
Volunteer Opportunities
During or Immediately After School
Holiday Store
- HOURS AND DUTIES ARE FLEXIBLE and based upon your availability!
- Takes place for 1 week in December
- Hours vary from right before school to right after school
- We definitely need someone during the last part of the day and after school
- Duties are flexible and may include:
- Assist with the setup the week before
- Assist with clean up at the end
- Cashier duties
- Restock and clean up
- Help children pick gifts
- Wrap gifts
- Crowd control
Book Fair
- Learn more about the past Book Fair here
- HOURS AND DUTIES ARE FLEXIBLE and based upon your availability!
- Takes place in September, March and May for 1 week
- Hours vary from right before school to right after school
- We definitely need someone during the last part of the day and after school
- Duties are flexible and may include:
- Assist with the setup the week before
- Assist with clean up at the end
- Cashier duties
- Restock and clean up
- Help children pick books
- Crowd control
Grandparent’s Day
- Usually takes place in Spring on Valentine’s Day or St. Patrick’s Day
- Assist with setup, hosting and/or clean up
Fun Run
- Usually takes place in May
- Assist with setup, hosting and/or clean up
6th Grade Committee
- The 6th-grade graduation ceremony is sponsored and organized by the PTA
- Great opportunity for parents of 6th graders to help raise money for the 6th grade graduation ceremony
- Duties are flexible and may include:
- Popsicle sales after school
- Assist with setup, hosting and/or clean up at the event
Red Ribbon Week
- Learn more about the past RRW here
- Takes place in October
- Duties are flexible and may include:
- Assist with organizing the activities during the week
- Assist with setting up and taking down decorations
- Assist with the finale on the final day, Friday
In the Evening
Carnival Committee
- Duties are flexible and may include:
- Assist with the planning
- Assist with setup, hosting, and/or clean up
- Run a booth during the event
Family Night
- Learn more about the past family nights here and here
- Dates and times have not been determined yet; however, there are typically 2 per school year
- Usually takes place on a Friday evening
- Duties are flexible and may include:
- Assist with setup, hosting, and/or clean up
Father / Daughter Dance

Mother / Son Date Night
